CLEARLY EXPLAINED

Legal & ownership

What you are — and are not — buying

An Estate Association connects you contractually with a unique numbered and mapped location within an Estate. Unless a product expressly says that a separately executed legal transfer of land is being made, it does not transfer the registered freehold, create a tenancy or give exclusive possession, development rights or a right to occupy the land.

The certificate and Estate Register record are commemorative evidence of that Estate Association. They are not title deeds or HM Land Registry documents.

A real place

The Estate is real land. The numbered Estate Location is an identification point within it, represented by our Estate mapping system.

Not an investment

Estate Associations are not sold as investments. We do not promise appreciation, resale, liquidity, planning permission or development potential.

No automatic access

An Association does not itself give a right to enter, occupy, fence, build on, alter or extract anything from the land.

Estate Exchange

Where eligible, a Keeper may request a marketplace listing. One Square England does not guarantee to buy an Association back and no sale is guaranteed.

Consumer protection matters to us.

Prices and mandatory charges should be clear before purchase. Public availability figures should reflect genuine inventory states. Reviews and testimonials presented as customer experiences should be genuine.

Full contractual documents are supplied at the point of purchase. This page is a plain-English explanation and does not replace the contract applying to your order.
